Pre-k 4 and Kindergarten
Dual Language English-Spanish
At iBis Learning Center, we encourage children to engage in make-believe play, which is a primary context for developing self-regulation. We are proud to offer a Spanish Immersion program focused on language development, and executive function skills. We have adopted the Tools of The Mind curriculum alongside the Texas Prekindergarten Guidelines to accomplish it.

Our unique Immersion Model
We empower children to become bilingual, strengthening both their English and Spanish language skills. We use storytelling, story creation and acting out as the cornerstone of our pedagogical approach, weaving it throughout all subject areas to create a cohesive, integrated learning experience. Storytelling not only engages children’s imagination but also connects Literacy, Social Skills, Math, and Science academic concepts, fostering a deeper understanding across all areas of learning.
Drawing on our extensive experience working with Pre-K to First Grade children in a dual-language setting, we apply proven strategies tailored to young learners. Phonics and Phonemic Awareness, Orthographic Mapping, Word recognition and Spelling, Vocabulary Building and Comprehension strategies are applied daily.

Service Description

We understand that every family’s rhythm is different, so we offer three flexible schedule options:
Half Day AM – A 4-hour morning session rooted in hands-on, dual language instruction. Children engage in purposeful play and receive instruction in Language Arts, Math and Science, while building early executive function skills.
Half Day PM – A 3-hour afternoon session that expands on morning themes with open-ended enrichment and deeper exploration—perfect for families looking to complement learning with creativity and collaboration.
Full Day – A full-day experience that integrates both AM and PM sessions, offering continuity, depth, and a balance of structure and discovery throughout the day.
We embrace mixed-age groupings for children ages 4 to 6. This approach encourages collaboration, leadership, and mentorship, as younger children learn from older peers and older children reinforce their knowledge by helping others.
Using a Constructivist approach, we build on each child’s thinking and skills, guiding their learning step by step to support steady academic growth
Our program runs annually, and we follow the lead of Spring Branch ISD School Year Academic Calendar.

Whether you're working part-time, full-time, or homeschooling, our schedule options are designed to complement your routine
Open the door to lifelong opportunities—give your child the bilingual advantage.
