At iBis, we guide children just beyond what they can do on their own, providing support and opportunities to explore. By focusing on each child’s potential rather than limiting learning by age or grade, we help them grow, take risks, and build confidence.   • Competence-and mastery-informed curriculum: At iBis we focus on both: mastering important skills and building competence, ensuring every child reaches their full potential. We  follow an intentional learning journey that provides clear milestones and resources to help each child grow and meet expectations.

  • Language Acquisition: Children learn in English and Spanish, building bilingual and biliterate skills across all content areas.
     

  • Executive Function–Focused: Daily experiences support memory, self-regulation,, planning~prioritizing, task initiation and positive habits— essential skills for long-term learning.
     

  • Personalized & Mastery-Based: Students advance by mastering skills, language-rich tasks, and strategy-informed instruction.
     

  • Data-Informed: We use screeners and observations to guide instruction, ensuring each child grows at their own pace — not just by completing assignments, but by mastering a skill and demonstrate competency.

At iBis Learning, children grow through purposeful play and rich learning experiences in both English and Spanish. Grounded in the research-based Tools of the Mind framework, our competency-based, age-appropriate program nurtures cognitive and social-emotional development while strengthening executive function, bilingual fluency, and whole-child growth.

At iBis Learning, children become bilingual naturally—through storytelling, movement, and make-believe play, not rote memorization and boring grammar lessons. Language is woven into every part of the day, from literacy and social skills to math and science, creating deeper, more connected learning.

We build fluency with interactive, engaging stories and promote oral language in each activity. This joyful, research-based approach supports both language development and executive function skills like focus, memory, and self-regulation.

At iBis Learning, children ages 4 to 8 learn in mixed-age groups, they experience a learning environment that mirrors the real world—where collaboration, leadership, and empathy naturally thrive.

Rooted in a constructivist approach, we build on each child’s current thinking and skills, offering intentional guidance that supports steady, meaningful academic growth.

Our program follows a yearlong schedule aligned with the Spring Branch ISD Academic Calendar to support consistency for families.
